What is the meaning of your life?
To be useful, like an insect.

Your favorite fictitious character?
Alice in Wonderland.

What is your favorite daytime activity?
Whatever I have to do is what I want to do.

What was the last thing stolen from you?
The TV in my cottage, and my son’s mobile phone when he was assaulted.

What gift would you like to receive?
Something I know nothing about, as the surprise makes it valuable.

What is never missing from your fridge?
There’s always something missing.

Your favorite saying?
“When I don’t have red, I paint with blue.” – Pablo Picasso

Your favorite insult?
You’re a pussy.

What do you like about men, and what do you despise
What I despise I later like.

What do you like about women, and what do you despise?
The same things as with men.

Which of your dreams has come true?
First I dream up many of my architectural projects. So many have come true.

Are you lucky in life?
Our entire generation in Europe is lucky.

If you were organizing a dinner and could invite five people from any era, whom would you invite, and why?
Charles IV, Jan Ámos Komenský, Jaroslav Foglar, Captain Kloss, and Felix Holzman. They shaped me when I was young and continue to do so to this day.

How do you get up in the morning?
With exercise.

Which action hero would you like to play, and why?
Ferda Mravenec, because he was the most active.

Would you like to travel in space?
Ten years ago, yes. Now my stomach can’t even handle amusement park rides.

What would be the first thing you’d warn an alien about?
To look out for his antennas.

What’s your favorite drug?
Sports. Sports are the best amphetamines. Running, skiing, cycling. And then beer. And then wine. And then sleep.

Which truth would you like people to know about you?
The gospel truth, entire.

In which country would you like to live?
In Prague, at Dobeška. It is most beautiful there.

Do you like happy endings?
And unhappy endings. As the insurance company’s slogan says – I like life the way it is.
