What did you want to become when you were a kid?
A Formula One race car driver.
In which country would you like to live?
I could not live in only one country. I have been on the road all my life, and I do not foresee this changing in the near future.
What is your reason for living?
I love to see people happy. I hate confrontation. I guess I sound like an old hippie…
What do you always have in your fridge?
A lot of space.
What is your favourite activity during the day?
Getting excited about the next concept that just struck me.
Who is your favourite fictional character?
Many politicians from all over the world. Are these people for real…?
What’s the best place to make love?
I am open to suggestions.
What’s the worst place to make love?
Probably during a sand storm.
Do you need to love to make love or do you need to make love in order to love?
I think that “making love” is, most of the time, a great marketing concept invented by people who are shy about sex.
Do you think it’s better to say everything or not to know everything?
If you are stupid enough to believe that you know everything, then you should do yourself a favor and say nothing about it.
What’s one place where you will never return?
In a car wash with my motorbike.
What’s your favourite drug?
Adrenaline. Lots of it.
How do you get up in the morning?
When the figures displayed on the alarm clock add up to the number 9. Sometimes it takes me a long time to get there…
What is it that you like the most about women?
Everything…most of the time.
What is it that you dislike the most about women?
Their capacity to memorize the things I have not done and to forget the ones I did. Jean Cocteau had the same problem.
What is it that you like the most about yourself?
My love for risk and my endless desire to try new things.
What is it that you dislike the most about yourself?
That I sometime procrastinate.
Who do people confuse you with?
The janitor, though I do not mind that much…
How would you like to die?
Surrounded by joy.
What’s your favourite quote?
“By not wanting to grow old, you end up dying young.” – Renaud Séchan
What truth would you like to re-establish about yourself?
If I do not say hello to someone I previously met, it is only because I have a bad memory for faces and names.
If you had to sacrifice one sense, which one would it be?
Smell, although with the size of my nose that would be a pity. But I can’t imagine not seeing, hearing, tasting and touching.
If you won the lottery, and no longer had to work to earn a living, what occupation or vocation would you pursue?
I would continue to do what I am doing. What you call “work” is my life and I love my life as it is.
If you had a dinner party, and could invite anyone from any place or period in history, who would they be?
Jehovah, Krishna, Moses, Jesus, Buddah, and Allah. Then I would ask them to resolve their differences so we can start to live in peace.
What would you like people to write on your gravestone?
He finally met Elvis.
