Written by: Jan Tuček
On the car market, Peugeot made a name for itself for pleasure with its 206 CC model. Now it’s offering a double serving of pleasure – driving its larger coupé cabriolet, the 307 CC, which features full seating for four.

THE DYNAMIC SILHOUETTE of this 4.34 meter-long car can be completely changed in just 25 seconds, from a coupé with a nicely rounded solid roof into an open cabriolet, or back, at the touch of a button. This does not require that you release or fix any catch by the frame of the glass in the roof, and the car can be moving at up to 10 km/h. Below the convertible roof there are 204 liters of space for luggage, and when it is in its coupé form there are up to 350 liters of space available in the back.
The structure of the body of the Peugeot 307 CC has been significantly strengthened, and the robust frame of the roof window, with a tubular brace and two safety arches behind the rear seats, can be raised above the heads of the passengers in a fraction of a second. But safe driving is primarily ensured by the excellent chassis, which comes with the ESP electronic stabilization system, ABS, and equipment for effective braking in critical situations, all as standard equipment.
The Peugeot 307 CC with Dynamique options and a 1.6 l, 110 hp (80 kW) engine sells for CZK 689,000, and with a 2.0 l, 138 hp (100 kW) engine, and a five-speed manual transmission for CZK 739,000, or for CZK 774,000 with a four-speed automatic gearbox. The top of the line, the 307 CC Sport, powered by a 2.0 l engine tuned to 177 hp (130 kW), costs CZK 845,000 and can reach a speed of 225 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds.
